Top Dining Apps Performance in UAE: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the top dining and restaurant apps in the United Arab Emirates demonstrated varied performance on the unified platform. Here’s a closer look at the trends in downloads and active users for these popular apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

KFC UAE - Order Food Online saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at 25.1K in early January and dipping to 10.3K by the beginning of March, before climbing back to 23.5K by the end of March. Active users displayed a steady increase from 275K in early January to a peak of 380K at the end of March.

The McDonald’s app experienced a decline in weekly downloads mid-quarter, from over 10K in early February to around 6.6K in mid-March, with a rebound to 12.6K by the end of March. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, starting the quarter at 268K and ending at 247K.

Pizza Hut UAE - Order Food Now downloads showed a mid-quarter dip, with numbers falling from 13.3K in early January to 5.7K in early March, then rising to 11.9K by the end of March. The active user base saw a slight decrease from 129K to 105K during the quarter.

For Hardee's UAE, weekly downloads were inconsistent, peaking at 6.7K in January and dropping to about 1.4K by early March, before recovering to 3.7K by the end of March. Active users remained stable, fluctuating around 28K throughout the quarter.

Finally, Domino’s MENA showed a significant increase in downloads from 1K in early January to 6.3K by the end of March. Active user numbers also rose, starting at 4.3K and reaching 9.3K by the end of March.
